Life just keeps getting busier and busier.

Well. I went the the April 15th tax day rally in Chicago. I met some great people and a whole lot of veterans. We spoke of taxes, second amendment rights, and American morals.

The night before, I read the Department of Homeland Security report which said Iraq/Afghanistan veterans are potential recruits for domestic terror organisations who are fed up with the government. It also stated that one of the reasons for this backlash was the problems a veterans has in returning to the civilian world.

BS!

On the 15th I met peaceful veterans who disagreed with the policies of the government. They challenged the policies through peaceful protest.

The worst thing (for this administration) I heard from anyone was that they were going to vote their local, state, and federal officials out of office if they don't get their act together.

In my opinion, many of our nations highest posts are filled by those who didn't serve and therefore will never understand the love we veterans feel for our country. Not to say that non-veterans aren't patriotic...quite the contrary. Obama, Biden, Peolsi, Reid, however, are members of are products of the liberal ferver which held this country in the 60s and 70s. I meet veterans from the Vietnam-era all the time who speak of the way they were treated by hippies and other groups on their return to the states. Those hippies now run the country.

The government should be hailing these returning heroes not blacklisitng them.

I've been so busy lately, I apologize. Well Obama and his socialist have done it again. Now they want to take from the hero's of the US. They wanted to have combat vets switch to private insurance and bill the Veterans Affairs department. The only problem with this is that many of this HERO's would also be raising their own health care premiums. Obama did all this to try to save $540 million. After spending trillions he now is concerned with millions from our HERO's. WOW!

I blame the people who fell for his rhetoric hook, line, and sinker. All these people has to do was look at his state legislature record and the 15 minutes he was a US Senator.

I am not a Republican or a Democrat. I don't fall into a clear cut category. I even love some of the views the Libertarian and Green Parties. I guess like most of the country I am center-right. And even though I supported McCain in the last election, it wasn't out of loyalty to a party. Neither of these candidates comply with my beliefs. McCain came the closest so I voted for him. A better person to put at the top of the ticket would have been Mitt Romney or Ron Paul. All over the media there has been a effort to pain a division in the Republican party. An attempt to show why they lost. But the true reason they lost wasn't because they haven't evolved. The reason is that it did change...for the worse. In many ways I cannot see the difference between the two parties. And when McCain got the nod from the party I was proven right. While I respect his attempts to reach across the aisle, he is a truly a very liberal Republican. Now that the storm has passed I am worried about this new America. As a man who has fought for this country, I came back twice to a changing nation. I have seen my fellow citizens burn our flag. I have heard even worse. Even though I am hopeful that President Obama may have what it takes to guide this country, I am also doubtful. I also worried about this cult following that he commands. Never in my lifetime have I seen something of this degree, accept in some sports figures. Time will tell

These crazy polls touted by a myriad of news agencies from television to print are shaping public opinion and breach an understood impartiality on the part of journalists. We are about to put an inexperienced, ineffective person into the highest office in the land because of the indoctrination the democratic party and their cronies are spewing out. The media has saturating the airwaves so much that my three year old nephew who can barley talk knows who Obama is (and even says his name when he appears on television) due to the fact the news is constantly on in his house as it is in mine. WOW!!

Well its a couple days from showtime and even though I am a conservative I believe that the Republican and conservative third-parties are not well organized. First, minorities (such as my self) are not properly educated on conservative views. Second, the Democratic party (at least in Illinois, a liberal bastion) is crazy about registering voters, especially their base. Finally and slightly off topic, I've been saying this all along...I think the McCain campaign made a mistake with pulling out of Michigan in regards to ads so soon.

In order to win back the house, senate and keep the White House last minute voter registration and an increase in information (viewpoint) intensive advertisement must be used. If there is any money left in the coffers.....use it NOW!

CNN and FOX News are way too biased....that focus group of Ohio voters at the end of the debate which was aired on CNN was insane! AMERICA DO INDEPENDENT RESEARCH PLEASE!!!!

In my view, Americans (the ones who actually care) are so heavily influenced by these dummies that it boggles the mind.

I can't lie, i listen to Roe Conn, Hannity, Rush and the others...but whenever they say something I don't understand...I look it up. I don't go directly to Wikipedia but many sites and read many books to get a broader view the I MAKE UP MY OWN MIND!

McCain won, IN MY OPINION......but of course it doesn't matter what you or I think....all that matters is impartial news shows...McCain had to come out punching...he did

As far as Bill Ayers....we need to know more...and people are harping on McCain coming out punching on that issue...wow!
